Intellectual Assessments for Children, Adolescents & Adults

Intellectual assessments refer to the evaluation of the general intellectual functioning of an individual.

Intellectual ability test or assessment results are not evaluated in isolation but rather considered with additional information from the individual's teacher and parents as well as observations made by the psychologist.

Intellectual tests or assessments can be useful to help in the diagnosis of intellectual disabilities or impairments as well as determining whether an individual is gifted, in which case they may need an accelerated learning program.

Contemporary intellectual assessments are done for the benefit of the individual so that better plans can be implemented in school or in the workplace.
