Adolescence refers to the stage of development between childhood and adulthood. This is usually a difficult stage that children face as there are a variety of changes, both physically and emotionally, that are taking place.
Behavioural difficulties in adolescents are one of the difficulties that teachers and parents are faced with and can include rebellious behaviours, problems in school performance, disrespectful and negative attitudes, drug and alcohol abuse, sexuality issues as well as peer pressure and depression.
Therapy activities for teenagers can help adolescents who are struggling to identify their emotions, cope with stressful life events and to deal with the difficult transitional period from childhood to adulthood.
